I don't think so.
You might want to break it into pieces before you give it to your dog (if you DID give it to them and it wasn't just stolen from you), but if you give it to them whole they'll probably just bite it into pieces themselves.
If the dog stole it from you, and it was cooked, fried, boiled, doesn't matter, it's probably not a big deal. The bun might gum them up for a while, as in, fill up their stomachs, but that's what it does to us, too. If they do react strangely, maybe it was because of whatever condiments were used, like spicy ketchup or something.
So, no, I don't think Hot Dogs can twist a dog's intestines. Unless you give them 100, which is bad for any animal's health-- including you!

Yes, hots dogs are made of minced meat with seasonings and preservatives, then encased in skin often made of lambs' intestines.
Hot dogs are made from all the trimming and unused cuts of skeletal muscle that are left over after the more expensive cuts have been boned out. Hot dogs are NOT made from oxlips, tails, ear, or any other non-meat part of the cow.
YES, they can get caught in your dogs intestines.
Hot Dogs
Yes they are. I think they are made out of pig intestines. === === Originally, hot dogs were made of meat from hogs, plus other stuff ["additives"]. Today, hot dogs are made from a variety of meat products: beef, chicken, turkey. Read the labels to see for yourself.
Hot Dogs are not actually made out of pig snouts or meat scraps left on the floor, which is a very popular belief. They are usually made of a blend of meats, usually chicken, beef, pork, or turkey and then meat fat, oatmeal, bread crumbs, various seasonings, and other ingredients. They are then mushed together and put into hot dog molds. Store bought hot dogs are put into cellulose casings, but homemade are usually made of intestines.
