yes
On 1989-1994 240SX, Top speed only goes to 115mph due to VSS. 240SX is not exactly known for topspeed but stability, and for the motor Torque since it was actually used for Nissan Trucks. 1997 Nissan Hardtop for ex.
you could only get 24SX in NFS carbon collector's edition
It's on the side of the transmission, had 2 wires and looks like a little black cylinder.
top of tranny near firewall kinda centered
on the first part of the 2 piece drive shaft LOL
Electrical - check voltage to "reverse" selonid. With my knowledge on Nissans, it could also be a transmission problem. If it is a 5-speed, it is more than likely the tranny. Reverse is the gear that goes out first most of the time
my Nissan shook at around 90-100km/hr. The problem was the coolant leaked into the tranny fluid and changed the viscosity of the fluid, something like that. I had to get the tranny rebuilt another glitch that Nissan never solved, mine was an 05, they cannot say it won't happen again
its the crankshaft position sensor
Nissan 240sx, Nissan 350z, Nissan skyline or Volksvagen golf
its on the transmission man....I got a 89 240sx twin turbo and its under the passenger floor board hook on the transmission.....if u bought one then u no what it looks like so u cant miss it...just jack it up real good and look on the tranny and u will see it......u will need a Phillips screw driver and that's it....just one screw holding it in.. Yes it is. It is a 3 speed automotive style auto-tranny.
