Sure can (with permission) Be careful though, because not all insurance automatically includes occasional use by other drivers. Make sure the carrier in question does-just in case.
The vehicle is insured not the individual. You can pay for and obtain the insurance in the name of the owner with you listed as an insured operator.
not if you are personally insured to drive that vehicle on your own policy
yes, not for the car but for yourself. you will not be insured on their car though if you crash it.
i think so
Yes, as long as she has a drivers license. You are the name insured on your policy all other legal drivers are allowed to drive your vehicle as an occasional driver.
Absolutely. The CAR is insured, not the driver.
Yes you absolutely can still be covered if your in a situation where you get pulled over by a cop and are in a friend's vehicle. All you need is permission and reasonable belief from the insured.
You need to check with your current insurance carrier. In my case I am insured thru Farmers, and with them as long as you carry full coverage on the rig you own and drive that same coverage will be with you in any rig you drive except commercial rigs.
Only if this is specifically stated on your certificate, you are authorised by the vehicle owner, and generally is limited to third party cover only.
If the car if financed, the lender will require you to insure it. If you own the car, and don't drive it, you are not required to have insurance.
i have no ideah(:])
He can't drive the car, but if something were to happen to it (ex. a tree falls on it during a storm, or it rolls out into the street and gets hit), it'd be insured. If anything, his insurance might be a bit cheaper because they wouldn't expect the car to be driven very often.
