Can i fix up my old PC I would like to fix up to run basic games that are kind of fps demanding but it doesn't need to do anything crazy i would like to do this for very cheap?

Mainly, you can make your computer faster by (a) adding more RAM, since the amount of RAM is often a limiting factor for computer speed; (b) changing the CPU (the processor) to a faster CPU.

Before doing the above (all of which costs money), you may try to defragment your hard disk; closing programs you don't need (at least while you are playing games); and making sure your antivirus program is updated, since viruses and other malware can slow down your computer.

However, it may just be that your computer is too slow, and that you would be better off buying a new one.
