Yes, but you need to make sure you are giving the right dose. Liquid Benadryl has a concentration listed on the bottle in the form ### mg/ml. From this, your veterinarian can help you figure out how much to give your dog.

You can give your dog Benadryl capsules, as long as the dose is appropriate for his size. As a rule of thumb, give your dog about 1 mg of Benadryl per pound of body weight two or three times per day. Be aware that it can have side effects, including depressing his nervous system. If your dog has any health issues, check with a vet before giving him any medication.

You should call your vet before giving your puppy anything not normal for their diet. However, my dog got stung by a bee and I gave her benadryl to prevent an allergic reaction. You might be ok if you give baby benadryl and only a little. If the puppy is sick, it needs to be seen by a vet

Yes Benedryl is safe for dogs. You can give your dog Benedryl for Allergies. This would be if your dogs is constantly chewing its paws or if their eyes are itchy, runny, or puffy. Talk with your vet about specific dosing instructions for your dog.
