I'd like the think of the fat in terms of volume thus 1 kg = 1 Litre. This depends on your body size and current weight. If you are morbidly obese (defined by a doctor) and you are altering your diet so that you are taking in all the correct food groups and adequate calories, then this might be feasible. If this is not the case then loosing 1 L of fat per week would be rather unhealthy.
1 4 units for woman in aweek is the recommended amount according to the bbc news website
30 lbs is alot of weight, and I HIGHLY doubt that you could lose so much in such a short amount of time. If you lose at a healthy rate, you should lose 2-3 lbs a week. So in order for you to lose 30lbs it should take around 15 weeks.
Most forensic scientist work well over the normal 40 hour work week. Their hours vary depending on if more than 1 crime has happened in a week.
If the world lost electricity for one week there would be allot of hardships. Hospitals and doctor offices would lose power, have to run off of generators, and would lose many ways of treatment for the patients. Families would lost food due to there being no power for refrigerators. Stores would go out of business, companies would lose tons of money, and mayhem will hit due to the people not knowing how to react to no electricity.

Are you asking 0.8 kilo, 8 kilo or 80 kilo? 1) To lose 0.8 kilo, just give up junk food and exercise a little more (always a good idea). 2) To lose 8 kilo, you might want to allow around 2 months. Avoid losing weight too quickly. See the attached Related Link for an essay I wrote on how to lose a kilo or so per week in a healthy manner. 3) If you meant 80 kilo, I think it's a very risky idea. Too drastic. It would require complete starvation and would do damage. To lose 80 kilo, allow well over a year, probably more. See the Related Link.

One to two pounds per week is good to aim for, no more than that. Less than that is still good.

If you burn 500 more calories than you eat every day for a week, you should lose about 1-2 pounds. If you want to lose weight faster, you'll need to eat less and exercise more.
