Giraffe Tools Pressure Washer
Yes, this is basically what you are doing at a car wash. A pressure washer is just a motor and a pump that shoots water at high speeds, and high pressures. A pressure washer is a great way to wash your car, but there are a few things that you should keep in mind:Make sure that you do not use too much pressure. I would not recommend using more than 1500 PSI to wash your car.1The more flow you can get, the better, look for something around 3 or 4 GPM.2Get a water filter. You do not want small sediment in your water damage the paint job on your car (or your pressure washer).Do not leave the trigger in the "closed" position for more than 15 or 20 seconds. This can cause the pressure washer to get hot due to the friction produced when the same water is recirculated multiple times. If you are going to stop washing to apply soap, then just turn off the pressure washer.*Tip- To save time, you can use a chemical injector to add the soap to the stream of water from the pressure washer. This is now pretty much the same setup as in a car wash.See TalkCarWash under related links for more informationSee Lawnsite under related links for more information
A good car wash soap, it doesn't leave spots, dish soap will.
Well, first its "How do you clean a car" :) There are literally hundreds of ways to clean a car, hand wash, dri wash, steam wash, water-less wash, spray wash, automatic car wash, detailing and many more... the most basic way to clean a car is to wash it by hand using a water hose and a wash mitt with car wash shampoo, the other alternate that many people use is interior & exterior steam cleaning using the many car wash companies around.
Well, I tried tide in the washer and that didn't do a great job. I think I am going to try a degreasing soap like Dawn dish soap in the washer and see how that goes. A little dawn goes a long way. I will try to remember to update after I am done.
Many mobile car detailing businesses use a 100 or 200 gallon poly tank with a pressure washer connected to it.
There are many different ways to make your own car wash soap. Simply using dish detergent in warm water is one way to make your own car wash soap. Another way is to use 1 cup of liquid dish washing soap and 12 tablespoons of powdered laundry detergent in warm water to make a good car wash soap. For a more eco-friendly car wash soap, you can use 1 cup of a vegetable-based oil soap or multipurpose green cleaner mixed with warm water. Does this help you?
If you use a pressure washer like the 'Karcher K2' which has a 110bar pressure you can safely use it on your car, but I wouldn't use it at close range. There are plenty of other items that can be cleaned this way, i.e; patio, decking, bicycles, garden furniture and windows.
With a pressure washer tasks such as washing ur desk, house and/or garage can be completed very easily. Also you should not wash your car with a pressure washer cause it can take the paint right off your car.
yes you can i wash my dads truck and my moms suburban all the time with it when we run out of car wash stuff...
Here's a step by step guide to wash your car: 1) Start off with a thorough rinse. Go from top to bottom, and rinse the dust and dirt off the car first. 2) Use the pressure washer to shampoo the car. If you have a pressure washer, you can attach a detergent tank to it. That will spray your chosen car shampoo onto the car. 3)Don’t forget to spray down the wheels. Blast the soap into the wheel wells and wheels. 4) Soap down the car. Take a soft sponge soaked in your soapy solution and soap down the car, being careful not to put too much pressure but getting as far into the nooks and crannies as you can. Use a different sponge for the bottom part of the car, wheel wells, and wheels. 5) Don’t forget to clean your undercarriage The easiest way to clean your undercarriage is through the use of an Undercarriage cleaner from BestCar Gurus Its powerful jet of water can blast away dirt and grime much easier than a conventional water hose. Simply connect the Undercarriage Cleaner with the nozzle rod to your existing power washer. Slide the Undercarriage Cleaner back and forth to your car’s undercarriage until the water that falls down is clear of dirt or grime
Soap, water, sponge and elbow grease.
