Everything in moderation is key. Over use, ie.; LARGE doses of lavender taken internally, have been linked to miscarriage from a few sources in early pregnancy. A cup or two of lavender tea a day (made from the flowers not the essential oil) after the danger of miscarriage passes and an essential oil mixture on your skin, face or tummy should not be a problem according to everything I have read and quite the opposite.
Lavender is one of the mildest yet powerful healing herbs there is. It is so mild, it is one of the few recommended for children and even infants. Lavender is great for our pets as well. Cats are so sensitive an aspirin can kill them, yet they can even be helped greatly with lavender. It's a great natural pain reliever.
This is strictly my opinion. I don't claim to treat anyone or cure them of anything. Like with everything you will want to first consult with your physician.
Many blessings during your pregnancy!

Lavender can be used to repel ants. They do not like the smell of it. You can use dried lavender, lavender oil or lavender plants around the home.

" you are not a dope if you use this wonderful lavender soap!" ( substitute lavender for whatever other fragrance)
The use of lavender is believed to relieve headaches, anxiety, rheumatism, insomnia, colds, and acne. Lavender can also be used as a natural insect repellent.
Lavandin, is a hybrid plant relatively new in use. It comes from crossing true lavender with spike lavender. Its uses in aromatherapy are similar to those of true lavender. Lavender, is an anciently know and used plant, one of the best general all around essential oils and one of the few that can be used "neat". Spike Lavender, is another essential oil with similar properties as true lavender. As Lavender essential oil is so multipurpose, easy to use, with few contraindications, it is in high demand. On occasion it becomes short in supply and the prices of good essential lavender oils can become very high. Spike Lavender and now Lavandin are less expensive and yet have very similar uses to true lavender.
be careful use your own lavender and it is a herb so you can eat
Lavender thrives in warm, well drained soil and full sun. You can keep it moist, but not damp. When the lavender blooms, you can cut it at the bottom and dry for later use. Lavender will come back every year.
