Foods high in starches or high in fat will make you tired. Basically if you get tired after eating a meal, you shouldn't have eaten it, it wasn't good for you. Examples would be fried /fast food, and pastas. Both are high in fat and carbs and take a lot of energy and time to digest. That's why you feel tired. I would recommend a diet high in fruits and raw veggies , it should give more energy.

Yes, when you eat you stomach needs to digest the food using acid. This acid is made by drawing from some of the liquid in your blood. This temporary makes you less than 100%, feeling more tired and sleepy. That's why people tend to relax after a good meal and maybe take a nap.

It depends on what you ate a lot of, but mostly it is due to the extra calories that make you sleepy while they are digesting. The extra food causes the blood sugar in your blood stream to increase and that can make us sleepy, especially if the calories come mostly from simple carbohydrates (e.g., sugar, flour, white bread, potatoes and other starchy vegetables, corn, corn syrup, etc).
