Should a person who has had a kidney transplant get a tan?

Given that kidney transplant recipients are on life-long immunosuppression after transplant and that one of the long term side effects of long-term immunosuppression is lymphoma and cancers, especially skin cancers, it would seem inadvisable to expose oneself excessively to sunlight in order to accomplish a mere 'sun tan'. Better to consider one of the spray tan parlors or alternative cremes and nostrums that 'color' the skin to mimic sun exposure.

What is the dosage of sun chlorella?

Which is better wheat grass spirulina or chlorella?

They are all very good for us but if I was going to choose just one I'd choose chlorella, which I do. It is very mild unlike wheat grass juice. Don't buy those expensive Sun Chlorella prepackaged dosages. I buy it by the kilo from iHerb.com and consume 7-14 grams a day (one - two heaping small utensil spoonfulls/day) in 1/2 - 1 cup of water or juice. The biggest difference is that unlike wheat grass and spirurlina, chlorella binds with heavy metals, such as mercury from fish or fillings or air pollution and expels them from the body. It doesn't remove your fillings, but they are constantly emitting a small amount of mercury gas that gets into our bodies. That is the mercury from fillings that chlorella binds with and removes via our bowels.

Any side effects or positive reactions to Sun Chlorella?

Naseau and severe stomach pain. I didn't effect me the first several times I took Chlorella. But when it did I, experienced stomach pain that lasted for two days. I initially didn't think it was the Chlorella, I thought maybe it was a stomach virus. So while recovering I stopped taking all supplements and went on a bland diet. Once my stomach had settled down for several days I took two Chlorella tablets along with my flax suplement. and bam by 10 am I was sick. I had to leave work, went home, threw up what was left of my breakfast. I suspected my flax powder was the problem since I had just opened a new jar. After recovering for two days, I took one tablet of Chorella along with my regular vitamins (no flax) and within 90 minutes I was sick again. So I'm sure it was the Chlorella causing the problem. I also experiened the same problems, three days in a row I was sick after taking my Sun Chlorella products after a 10 month lay off. I would get a slight headache and nausea feeling folllowed by vomiting what appears to be excess bile and or stomach acids. I decided to try a fresh batch/bag of Sun Chlorella and have been fine since with no bad after effects. I have no way of testing, but I believe the previously opened bag of SC had gone bad with age due to possibly old air in bag while in storage. I tossed that bag and am now in day five without any problems. On a side note, I believe this stuff really works. For the two years prior to my stopping usagage of the product. I do not remember having any virus's, cold or flu's. During my 10 month lay off I have had several colds and/or flus the last couple of months. PF

Will a leaf which is coated with wax be able to make its food and why?

Leaves depend on the sun to make food using a chemical called chlorella and if a leaf is coated with wax, sunlight cannot penetrate through the thick and opaque layer of wax and thus the leaf will not be able to make its food.

Can you grow kidney beans?

Is Susan jacks alive?

I am not 100% but i think she is because terry jack is aliveSusan Jacks is alive and well. She left the marriage to Terry Jacks in 1973 after recording their last projects together - Terry Jacks' "Season In The Sun" album and her own "I Thought of You Again" album. Susan lived in Nashville for many years and continued to record as well as working as a staff songwriter at Quantum Music Group, a Nashville publishing company. She and her husband Ted moved home to Vancouver, B.C. Canada in 2004 when Ted was diagnosed with lung cancer. Ted passed away in 2005 and Susan herself was diagnosed with kidney failure. She received a kidney transplant in 2010 with her brother Billy donating a kidney. Billy's name was used for her first big hit "Which Way You Goin' Billy?" Susan is now back performing live and recording a new CD.

Why do some kidney transplant patients get moles?

Changes in skin colour (e.g freckling) are normally due to the immuno-suppressives required to maintain a transplanted organ, rather than due to the organ itself. Immuno-suppressives have a tendency to impair healing of the skin, which means that sun exposure may cause more problems to your skin than the average person would experience - e.g a higher propensity to sunspots, freckling and of course sunburn. ( Normally the more sun-exposure you experience, the greater the changes to your skin. This means that if you use a moisturizer on a daily basis its a good idea to make sure it has a sunblock in it.) Among other things, Tacrolimus, Sirolimus and Ciclosporin all increase a person's chances of getting skin cancer, so if any moles begin to look unusual (uneven, itchy, crusty or bleeding) it is necessary to get them checked out.
