Will enamel paint go over acrylic paint?
If you are painting a residence the chances are your enamel is a water borne acrylic enamel. Conversely, if you are referring to acrylic and enamel spray cans then the answer is yes you can spray one to another without any problems. Always be sure your paint is completely dry before applying successive coats.
Can you use krylon h2o acrylic latex spray paint for bathtub?
It will not last very long. Much better to use a full enamel spray or an epoxy base.
Will latex paint go over WD40 oli?
Latex paint will go over WD40 but will not adhere. I work at paint stores and we spray our mixing tables with WD40 so that the paint cans will slide easily and any spilled or splashed paint will peel off if dried.
Why would enamel spray paint eat through a layer of enamel spray paint?
Enamel in the spray can will not dissolve an existing coat of the same paint. There is something else going on there. Double check the can(s) to be sure you are using the same product. It sound like you applied something other than enamel to the existing surface.
