Loud noises and sounds can be harmful to your gecko. As a hobbyist, we are trying to mimic all of their natural habitat. In the wild, more than likely there is not too much traffic flow, or the sounds of vacuum cleaners and laughs etc.. Geckos are not able to adapt to stress as humans can, well as best as we try to anyways. The slightest bit of change in a geckos daily routine can stress them out and with too much stress, there's risk of death. Do not expose your gecko to extended periods of loud noises, keep them on a 10-12 hour light cycle and do not change times until seasons change. Regulate temperatures, keep humidity, again the slightest bit of change can stress them out.
Most geckos hate quick movements, loud noises, the sound of leaf little rustling and water.
