Yes, you can replace non-renewable substances (like coal, oil and gas) with manure, you burn the manure the same way you'd burn non-renewable sources to make energy. Like this the manure is known as biomass or biofuel.

Manure can also be used to manufacture methane, which is the same as natural gas.
