Did Bob Marley use peanut butter to make his dreadlocks?

First of all let me say Bob Marley rocks, but I don't tink he used peanut butter to make his dreadlocks. I don't think anyone does LOL Indeed, no one intelligent would use peanut butter on locks. It would be similar to filling your car up with milk instead of gasoline... it just doesn't make any sense. Most people will use dreadlock wax, even though some are strongly against the use of wax.

Tempering marcel curing iron?

Two ways: Heat Marcel stove. 1.) Rub irons liberally with either a heavy pressing oil or a wax such as Dax Bees Wax. Place iron in stove and heat until red hot. DO NOT LEAVE UNATTENDED. Remove, cool a bit and wipe down with white heavy clothe. Careful not to burn yourself. Repeating twice gets the best results this way. 2.) Heat irons until red hot. Cool a bit and CAREFULLY dip or rub liberally with a heavy pressing oil or a wax such as Dax Bees Wax. Remove excess oil or wax. Place iron(s) in marcel stove and reheat until 'red hot'. Remove. Cool and wipe down.

Is hairspray good for dreads?

No. Dreadlocks are like little sponges and they absorb everything you put in them. Hairspray is bad for hair in general, but the problem with dreadlocks is that if you hairspray them you won't be able to get it out of the dreads properly after that. There will always be some residue somewhere inside the dread. That is why you want to use products that are as natural as possible on them. also this is why dread wax makes no sense at all.
