Can marriage with a narcissist be positive?

I believe they are not capable of being happy. In case they have everything for their false image to be supported- wealth, professional success, great spouse and kids- they may SEEM happy. But every once in a while something would remind them of what they really are- an empty shell- or somebody or something would allegedly threaten them. This was my experience, sadly. I wish I had never met him, he almost ruined my life.

By definition a narcissist is extremely self-centred so probably also selfish.

We all possess a degree of Narcissism. A good dose of self-esteem and self-regard is healthy for us and is essential to our ego identities. Without any self-interest, we would lose our ability to support and protect ourselves in the world. Only when there is a trauma or injury to one's ego identity severe enough to damage self-esteem, or shatter ego identity altogether does narcissism emerge as a personality disorder.

With healthy narcissism a person can be motivated, inspired; determined to do things to get himself noticed or to influence people. Celebrities, entertainers, teachers, artists, physicians, home makers are examples of some of the types of people who like to be the center of attention or influence. But that's in a good, because we all benefit from a healthy narcissist's actions--the math genius teacher, the medical guru, or the rock star.

With healthy narcissists, we want them to 'think much of themselves' and to reward them because it's what keeps them producing those things we enjoy and contributing positively to our society.
