Yes. TIP members are not invincible or above the rules an any way and they are treated exactly the same as any non-TIP member. Constant violation of the rules will eventually lead in termination from the program and a block from accessing the website.

Members of The Initiates Program do not have access to the merge tool. TIP members can request merges in the same way as other contributors by changing the wording of a question to match the wording of the question they wish it to be merged to. You can also ask a supervisor to merge questions for you (or your TIP Supervisor if you are a member). Merging is a supervisor-only tool.
There are an estimated 300 WIT members currently on WikiAnswers. Since the WIT Program began in 2008, there have been more than 1000 teens who have gone through the program.

WikiGuides are members of the Answers.com Community Outreach program who take part in community actions geared toward making the WikiAnswers Community a warm and friendly place our Contributors will want to return to again and again. The community actions include greeting new contributors, delivering special occasion greetings for birthdays, anniversaries, etc., passing out kudos for great contributions, letting absentee contributors know they are missed, and congratulating fellow members of the community on their various levels of achievements.
When you complete a mission in The Initiates Program (TIP) your completion is posted to the Community Outreach Program. Community Outreach is composed of WikiGuides whose job is to congratulate members on their achievements around the site.
