I'm not sure what exactly your saying your getting...but regardless...even if it isn't garnishable for some reason (and the what your trying to say it is, I suspect it would be anyway - an annuity left to you by someone who worked for the military), but as soon as you receive the money into an account it would be. It would lose any protection and be like any other fund...it is only what it was in your mid at that point.
