Eating anything in excess will make you fat. Full fat milk is relatively high in calories and saturated fat, so it should be consumed in moderation. Skimmed milk is far healthier as it's lower in calories and fat. There is also evidence that calcium aids weight loss, so skimmed milk could be part of a weight loss diet.

The above paragraph is based on pop-science and not research. Fat is not always bad, and this is bourne out in the research on dairy produce which shows no increase in cardiovascular side effects with the consumption of full fat milk. There is also research which shows full fat milk may assist with weight loss, and the metabolic syndrome. Fat in milk also contains vitamins and minerals, and helps with the uptake of vitamins.

When fat is removed from milk, you then have cream and skimmed milk, both of which can be sold on the open market. Skimming milk therefore offers a further 20% increase in profit margin for the typical producer. Upon realising that this profit was avaliable, the food industry began encouraging us to drink lower fat milk. The profit, you will notice, is not passed on to the consumer. Health benefits of this thin and watery product have been heavily pushed, but trials have shown that skim milk is not healthier. Never the less, some people prefer the taste of skim milk.

Answer: Additionally, whole milk, reduced fat milk, and low fat milk will add more weight to you depending what milk you drink and will make you fat if consumed too much or everyday.

Cow’s milk naturally contains the large amount of growth hormones, fat, and protein needed to turn a 80-pound calf into a 1,000 pound cow in one year. Those amounts of protein and hormones are not only unnecessary for humans, they’re actually unhealthy. Whole milk is 50% fat, milk advertised as 1% (low fat) is still 18% fat, and cheese is 70% fat.

How does the making of skim or no fat milk demonstrate the property of solubility?

It can be argued yes because whole milk is an emulsion of milk and cream. Tiny fat globules are suspended (but not SOLUBLE) in the water solution of the milk solids, etc that make up milk. The fat will separate on standing - the "cream rises". Making low-fat and skim milk is separating out more of the fat globules, which were not dissolved in the milk.
