Yes, you can chain Call of the Haunted to Monster Reborn. Works great if they try to reborn your monster.
Nothing really - traps get negated, including Call of the Haunted. Call of the Haunted special summons a monster, and has a condition to destroy itself or the monster, depending on what happens. However it is not true to say it is 'holding' the monster on the field. Simply negating Call of the Haunted will not destroy the monster. While Call of the Haunted is being negated, if the monster is destroyed, Call of the Haunted will remain on the field, uselessly. If Call itself is destroyed, then the monster is not destroyed.
Since Call of the Haunted special summons a monster from your graveyard, he won't get a dragonic counter. You can use it's effect after the effect of Call of the Haunted resolves.
depending on the level, such as a level 5-6 monster can be summoned with no tribute with a card like cost down, or there are cards like Majestic Mech- Ohka, that can be brought out with its effect, but only stays around for 1 turn. Plus you can use like monster reborn or call of the haunted to bring them from the graveyard, but otherwise, you can't. You have to have a special affect.
Yes, that's fine. He activates Monster Reborn, targeting Blue-Eyes. You chain Call of the Haunted, targeting the same one. Just because Monster Reborn targeted it first, does not mean other cards can't target it. The chain resolves in reverse order as normal, so your Call of the Haunted resolves first, summoning the Blue-Eyes, then his Monster Reborn resolves without effect because the target is gone (he cannot select a new target).
You can't interrupt a chain while it is resolving. So Call of the Haunted is chained to Mystical Space Typhoon. Call of the Haunted resolves first, summoning the target. However even if it has a Quick effect, it can't be used here as the chan has not finished resolving. Mystical Space Typhoon will then resolve as normal. However, if the monster has a continuous effect, this will become active after CotH resolves, but before MST can. If it was Jinzo for example, that means he'd survive, if his CotH was MST's target. There aren't many other useful ones that could be applied in this case though.
Monster reborn and Call of the haunted
Call of the haunted sometimes cant be use on the turn u want it (trap). The others r spells, used immediatelyExample:u just draw Call of the haunted. u want to special summon some monster from your graveyard as sacrifice for your (something) or your tribute for (somecard). But u have 2 wait till the next turn to do it, which could leave u at a disadvantage. But monster reborn and premature burial dont have this problem.
You Cant Reincarnate But You Can Bring Back some Monsters with Speacial Cards like Monster Reborn Or Call of the Haunted
in yugioh PC game you can get the fusion cards in the graveyard by using " Monster Reborn " or " call of Haunted " or any other spell or trap cards .
Yes. It is a 'can only be special summoned by' monster, which can be brought back as long as it was properly special summoned originally. It is monsters who say "cannot be special summoned except by.." that cannot ever be brought back with cards like Monster Reborn.
Once properly summoned, the Chaos Sorcerer will 'remember' that as long as it is never returned to hand or deck. So if you used Monster Reborn on it, and it was destroyed, you can then use Call of the Haunted on it. But if you were to have it returned to hand, then you cannot discard it and revive it from the graveyard, you will need to resummon it properly first.
Monster Reborn is a "broken" card in Yu-Gi-Oh! because of its ability to Special Summon any monster card in either player's Graveyard at virtually no cost. Before current Forbbiden/Limited card lists, Monster Reborn was considered better than Call of the Haunted or Premature Burial because it was an unfair balance of give and take, while Call of the Haunted, and Premature Burial came with a cost (Call of the Haunted had to be Set and then activated the next turn and was vunerable to Spell/Trap destruction cards and cards such as Jinzo and Royal Decree; Premature Burial, although could be activated immediately, still required a cost of 800 Life Points, and was also vunerable to Spell/Trap destruction cards). However, players started to abuse the return effect of Giant Trunade and were able to reuse the effect of cards such as Call of the Haunted, Premature Burial, and Swords of Revealing Light over and over again (which resulted in the Limiting of Giant Trunade). Another advantage that influenced the banning of Call of the Haunted was its ability to activate even on the opponent's turn. Monster Reborn could not do that. Later, when the new Forbbiden/Limited card list came out, Monster Reborn was switched with Call of the Haunted on the Forbidden section. And the list after that placed Premature Burial right next to Call of the Haunted in the Forbidden list, and Magician of Faith was put there as well to avoid abuse of the newly released Monster Reborn.Premature Burial was deemed even more abused than Call of the Haunted. Along with Giant Trunade, the newly released Hidden Armory, foreshadowed continued abusive play with Premature Burial which earned it a place on the Forbidden list.As of the October 2010 Forbidden/Limited Card List, both Monster Reborn and Call of the Haunted are now Limited, with Premature Burial still Forbidden.
No. Judgment Dragon says it 'cannot be special summoned except by...' and this way is the only way it can ever be special summoned. It cannot ever be revived from the graveyard by cards like Monster Reborn.
If A activates Call of the Haunted and B Chains Mistical Space Typhoon, COTH is destroyed and no monsters are summoned. If COTH is chained to MST, either monster will be summoned, but then MST will destroy COTH, and the monster will also be destroyed. However, either monsters effect will activate as both will be summoned then destroyed.
It's like they don't mind players being able to special summon from the graveyard like that, just as long as there aren't too many effects that can do it easily. When we get Monster Reborn back, we've usually lose Premature Burial or Call of the Haunted at the same time.
Yes! There are many cards forspecial summoning monsters from the grave, but many are banned or limited. Monster Reborn, Call of the Haunted). Many players consider these cards unfair, and sometimes you can only play in Traditional format, or if you and your opponent agree on them.
