You can't interrupt a chain while it is resolving.

So Call of the Haunted is chained to Mystical Space Typhoon. Call of the Haunted resolves first, summoning the target. However even if it has a Quick effect, it can't be used here as the chan has not finished resolving. Mystical Space Typhoon will then resolve as normal.

However, if the monster has a continuous effect, this will become active after CotH resolves, but before MST can. If it was Jinzo for example, that means he'd survive, if his CotH was MST's target. There aren't many other useful ones that could be applied in this case though.

Can you tribute a monster summoned by 'Call of the Haunted' the same turn it's activated?

No part of Call of the Haunted's activation prevents monsters from being tributed. Of course, if you activate it in your opponent's turn, you could only tribute the monster for a spell speed 2 effect or trigger.

Can you use 'Call of the Haunted' to summon 'Jinzo'?

Yes, you can. His trap negation and trap activation prevention effects only apply when he is on the field. So Call of the Haunted can be activated and target him. When it special summons Jinzo, Jinzo's effect will then negate Call of the Haunted. This does not destroy Jinzo though, and when Call is destroyed, Jinzo will remain on the field because he's negating Call's effect to destroy the monster it summons.

If your opponent activates 'Royal Decree' can you activate 'Call of the Haunted' and special summon your monster?

Nothing really - traps get negated, including Call of the Haunted. Call of the Haunted special summons a monster, and has a condition to destroy itself or the monster, depending on what happens. However it is not true to say it is 'holding' the monster on the field. Simply negating Call of the Haunted will not destroy the monster. While Call of the Haunted is being negated, if the monster is destroyed, Call of the Haunted will remain on the field, uselessly. If Call itself is destroyed, then the monster is not destroyed.

What happens if you activate Heavy Storm after Call of the Haunted was activated and after Royal Decree was activated later on in Yu-Gi-Oh?

Call of the Haunted destroys its summoned monster at the same moment it itself is destroyed. In the above case if it's being negated by Royal Decree, then it will not destroy the monster. Even though Royal Decree is being destroyed by the same resolution, it is still negating Call of the Haunted up until the point of its destruction. The end result, Call of the Haunted and Royal Decree will go to the graveyard but the monster summoned by Call of the Haunted will be safe.

Can you activate 'Call of the Haunted' on your turn?

As a trap card, you cannot activate it on the turn you Set it. However you can activate it in any turn after that, including your own, if you wish.

Can Stardust Dragon stop Call of the Haunted?

The effect of Call of the Haunted that destroys the monster it summons, is not something that 'activates'. Because it does not activate, there is nothing for Stardust Dragon to chain to.

If a activates call of the haunted and then b chains mst then coth effect disappears but what happens if mst targets face down coth and its chained to mst and targeting sanga?

Call of the Haunted will resolve first, summoning Sangan. Mystical Space Typhoon will resolve second, destroying Call of the Haunted. This in turn will destroy Sangan. Sangan will start a new chain with his triggered effect and search for a card of 1500 ATK or less.

If your opponent flips 'Greenkappa' and picks your face down 'Call of the Haunted' can you activate it and what happens?

Just because Call of the Haunted was selected, does not in any way stop it from being chained. Greenkappa is unable to destroy a target that has flipped before Greenkappa's effect can resolve, but will still destroy the other one if that remains face down.
