Absolutely - MS office is compatible with Windows 7.
You'll need to edit boot.ini and add an entry for Windows XP.
There are two ways to do this. Either install a software called Virtual PC and install Windows XP on the Virtual PC which basically means you switch on Windows 2003 and then use the Windows XP under the Virtual PC. I just checked and the good thing is you can install Virtual PC from http://www.microsoft.com/windows/downloads/virtualpc/default.mspx. The other alternative is backup your data and reinstall Windows XP on the server. The thing to note, on virtual PC, there is required licensing. Kind regards, Imtiaz.
Windows Movie Maker v2.6 can only be installed on Vista (and Windows 7) versions.
Not legally.
Yes, Microsoft Office 2019, the latest version of the popular office suite can be run on Windows 7. However, depending on your hardware configuration and the system requirements of Office 2019, you may experience slower performance or other issues while running the software. It is recommended that you install a compatible version of Windows such as Windows 10 to ensure optimal performance. If you are looking to purchase Microsoft Office at an affordable price, then you should check out Affordablekey, they are a best seller website with a wide selection of Microsoft products. Microsoft Office software needs to purchased and installed on a computer either from new or later.
You can make a movie on your PC using the Windows Movie Maker program which is already installed on your system.(If you have Windows 7 operating system, you can download Windows Live Movie Maker)
If it is a PC game it will only work of Windows, but the new Macs that are coming out have Windows already installed on there. All you have to do if load Windows when you boot up. Then insert the PC disc otherwise it will not work on Mac.
It all depends on how many your computer will hold.
Yes, but I would still recommend Windows 7 for PCs that use a mouse and keyboard primarily. Windows 8 is designed with tablets in mind
Windows 8.1 can be downloaded and installed on a Windows 7 PC, but Windows 8.1 is not an update it is a new operating system. This new operating system can be bought from Microsoft for $119.99.
When using a SERVER computer you should have software installed already purposefully written for a SERVER...For example WINDOWS 2000 PRO in the early days WINDOWS XP OFFICE with a server application...Check out the MICROSOFT website for more info.
