of course your employer can assign any of its client accounts/territories to anyone it pleases ... they do not belong in any way to individual employees - allocation is aways at the express discretion of the employer and may change at any time to suit the requirements of the employer ... specifically but not always where a salesperson has proved not be able to generate sales from a client a company may allocate that prospect to someone else; where sales territories need to be more fairly shared amongst all sales personnel; where there are imbalances; or when new products/services are being introduced; when a sales person has become too complacent/reliant on existing busines rather than making a contribution to new business development etc etc etc
