this is a tough question because i dont know what your condition is. if you have an average cold or flu the the clinic sets you up with the term quarters which is a written order by the doctor stating you are phisacally unable to do your job at this time due to ailment and must reside at your residents for so many days. this is not a form of leaveand cannot be charged as leave also.look up your bases regs on post limits different bases have different limits as far as distance away from the base before being awol. be warned though that if your not on leave and you get into an accident tri care has only a certain limit they cover if your not on leave,that normally coensides with the bases limits. the best way to stay out of trouble is talk to your supervisor first and see what they know then if need be apply for leave.
