yes my nintendog is 2 yrs old and on your trainer info it says by the trainer points you puppie is now an adult and when its an adult they can have puppies and to get your puppie to be an adult you need to have 9,999 trainer points.My female has had 7 litters.

Nintendogs are not unlockable, They are deflaut assist trophies. I am not sure of the chance of getting a Nintendog when you use an assist trophy but so far for me it has be rare. Nintendogs will come up to the screen and block it out making it hard to see much of anything.
