I'm a nurse, and I have an eyebrow piercing, multiple ear piercings, and a septum piercing. I unfortunately have to wear clear acrylic retainers in all of them (except for my older ear piercings, which are so well healed that they can go for months with nothing in them and not close).
I've seen some hospitals that allow visible piercings -- but very, very few. Health care personnel are still held to a different standard, and fair or unfair, that's the way it is.
Ask yourself, too, if you accept the additional risk of bloodborne pathogen exposure. You are creating non-intact skin, because even if you bump a healed facial piercing, it can cause micro-tears in the epithelium and allow pathogens to enter. If you are really careful about not touching your face without properly washing your hands, and you ALWAYS wear a face shield when doing invasive procedures, you should be OK. Just be aware that it IS another potential route for pathogens to enter your body. If you use common sense, it's no worse than working with a paper cut -- you just remember to use precautions.
Yes they can. But this category is in correct.
No, I am a nurse and have been wearing a full beard for years. I have a long grey beard, about 4 inches. It is always neat and clean. I have never had a negative comment.

You can simply use PhotoShop.
I have no idea if they except them, they might accept them though.
You'll have to call up the store. They may have rules about the number of piercings or the location. Some managers are okay with them and others are not.
yes you want to look good and trust worthy
i would say like 70% of teen have their lip peirced
1.6 or 1.2 is common for ear lobes. All other piercings are normally 1.6 except where they are facial piercings on women then they can be 1.2
Not alot of extremely professional places allow facial piercings, as it *somehow* looks or is deemed to be *un-professional*. Most cafes, clothing stores (depending on the store), most beauty parlours, hairdressing salons, or anything in the fashion/art/fast food industry will allow facial piercings, as it expresses individuality and are often a *fashion statement*. If you want an office job, earning a real nice wage; I'd stick to ear and septum piercings.
