PCMCIA wireless adapter and USB wireless adapters. PCMCIA goes into notebooks (outdated one)
The straight and simple answer is no. Laptops are not akin to desktops in which they can be upgraded as one wishes. The integrated graphics in your Toshiba is the best you will get from that machine internally. The only other option you have is an external video adapter which attaches through USB but you will not get high-performance graphics out of that to a level at which you can play a game, for example. If you want a gaming laptop, then you need to get a gaming laptop.
"No one does not need to purchase a laptop adaptor if they own a laptop. For any and all types of adaptors are basicly add-ons to your laptop thus, not a neccesity."
You can find a car adapter for a laptop at sites such as Amazon, Best Buy and Overstock. If you choose to purchase from Amazon, you get free shipping for orders over $25.00.
Most graphics cards in laptops are integrated graphics, which means that the motherboard handles the graphics processing and which also means it isn't upgradeable or replaceable. Consult your instruction manual to see if your laptop is one of those that supports upgrades, and how this can be achieved.
Laptop chargers are plug-in cords and voltage adapter boxes that come with your laptop so that you may keep the laptop's battery charged. Your computer should have come with one.
no chance
you will have to buy a graphics card but any laptop can take it. A graphics card would cost £30 -£40 but it is well worth it.
Well, isn't that a happy little question! Both a normal video adapter and a 3D graphics adapter help your computer display images on the screen. They work together to bring colors, shapes, and textures to life, just like painting a beautiful landscape. Just remember, whether you're using a normal video adapter or a 3D graphics adapter, they both help make your digital world a little brighter and more colorful.
Yes you can. There have been several made but never made it to the mass market for one reason or another (like the Asus XG). The one that I know of and that is currently out is the "ViDock 2". They claim you can take a CHEAP laptop that is several years old and have performance of over 400% and take a newer laptop and get even better results. It works on 32- and 64-bit Operating Systems: Windows 7, Vista, XP, Mac OS X 10.5, and Linux. It uses the ExpressCard on your laptop (PCMCIA). I have not used this product but have been looking into buying this for my laptop. They claim: "With ViDock 2 you can turn any laptop with an ExpressCard slot into a hard core graphics and gaming machine, regardless of what video solution the laptop itself might have. ViDock 2 fixes the top three problems of mobile gaming machines: lack of upgradability, falling short of desktop graphics performance, and short battery life. Enjoy the highest level of graphics performance at your workstation while you continue to enjoy the mobility of your laptop while away."
I had a 6680 with my old laptop and currently have a 7680 with my new one and its quite nice.
Laptop car adapters can be purchased in many different stores. One of the best places to buy one is Best Buy. One can also purchase them at sites such as Laptop Parts Now, and Amazon.
