Any state can suspend your license if you were driving on their roads. For instance, my license is an Indiana license. Michigan can't suspend my license because they don't have jurisdiction in Indiana. Michigan can, however, suspend my license if I was driving on Michigan's roads.

If your license suspended in one state can you get it in another?

It is possible with some states, but not with every state. If you have a CDL (Commercial Drivers License) which gets suspended in one state, there is no state or territory of the US in which you'll be able to get licensed in while your license is suspended. Also note that the state which suspends your license also suspends your driving privileges in that state, so, if you did obtain a license from out of state, and were pulled over in the state where your license was suspended, it would still be treated as if you were driving on a suspended license.

Can you drive in ga if your license is suspended there but have current license in Colorado?

No. Legally you can only possess ONE valid operators license and it must be issued by the state in which you have legal residence. ALL states share and honor each others's Motor Vehicle laws. The long and the short of it is; If you're suspended/revoked in one state you are considered suspended/revoked in ALL states.

Do you have to get out of state sr22 insurance if you live in one state but need sr22 insurance for your suspended license?

Yes, if you live in one state but need SR-22 insurance for a suspended license from another state, you typically need to obtain the SR-22 from an insurance provider in the state where your license is suspended. The SR-22 form acts as proof of financial responsibility and must be filed with the state that issued your license. Make sure to check the specific requirements of both states, as regulations can vary.
