Mercury? No, Mercury is the innermost and smallest planet in the Solar System,[8] orbiting the Sun once every 87.969 days.
Mercury is similar in appearance to the Moon: it is heavily cratered with regions of smooth plains, has no natural satellites and no substantial atmosphere. However, unlike the moon, it has a large iron core, which generates a magnetic field about 1% as strong as that of the Earth.[10] It is an exceptionally dense planet due to the large relative size of its core. Surface temperatures range from about 90 to 700 K (−183 °C to 427 °C, −297 °F to 801 °F),[11] with the subsolar point being the hottest and the bottoms of craters near the poles being the coldest.
No it wouldn't be possible to survive on the planets surface itself. While it may be possible to put a man on mercury someday it certainly will not involve him walking around like we did with the moon.
Uhhh... you see, it's possible, but only if you walk continuously.
When mercury is facing away from the sun, it is freezing cold, but when it is facing the sun, it is extremely hot. In order to survive, you will have to walk continuously in the middle (longitude). On the other hand, the gravity is very small on mercury, so you can save energy by jumping around :)
If you don't want to do either of those, you should dig a pit on one of the poles so you are safe from the sun's UV rays and the cold at night.
Sure. Humans can live is any place where the conditions on Earth can be
created. That means the right temperature, oxygen supplied at the right
pressure, overall protection from greater or lower pressure, liquid water,
shielding from radiation, and mental and physical stimulation in the right
amounts. Provide that, and humans can exist anywhere.
Mercury doesn't qualify as it stands. In fact, we don't know of ANY place
outside of Earth yet, where you could live without bringing all of those things
along with you.
As there is no gaseous atmosphere or liquid water, humans living on Mercury would need pressurized habitats that could endure scorching heat and/or incredible cold. One place that might be suitable would be near the poles, where the temperatures are not as extreme, and where (as on the Moon) water ice might be found in deep craters.
Not on the surface outside like outside your house.
It would be possible on the planet if you had a special habitat built to be on Mercury to protect you.
No because even if there was a dome over you with air and food. The average temperature on both sides are either too hot or too cold
There is no air on Mercury, nor water, and the temperature is far too hot for us humans. We would need extremely expensive equipment which may not have been invented yet to protect us.
NO because it is to close to the sun
but there ...............
No Because Mercury Is Too Hot And Has A Minimal Atmosphere
If you have a air locked tank with O2 in it with glass helmet.
there is no possible way to live on mercury because it is impossible to have any wind currents or any air therefor no you cannot live on ANY planet other then earth
never!! you would only last a few minutes
no
It is not yet known.
You couldn't survive on Mercury. It's too close to the sun and you would die. i think if you take good equipment you can survie but its impossible.
why would it be difficult for a peron to survive on mercury andneptune
no one has tried to go on mercury so we don't know but I'm sure that monkeys can and so can elephants
There is no way to survive on mercury
Mercury is more hotter than earth. People can't able to survive here.
There could be life on mercury but scientist still are studying so it's a 50 50 chance no or yes.
no
They can survive but only with protective equipment.
something
no
no not possible
It is not yet known.

The temperatures on Mercury are too extreme for humans to survive. There is also no oxygen on the planet.
