no i dont think it can
Don't take me for certain here but as i remember hydrogen peroxide is used for healing and disinfecting. keeping a wound clean from bacteria and etc. So my best guess would be that it would keep your horse's wound disinfected and help it heal up better.
Peroxide should not be used. I used to do that all the time with simple cuts and what not. My doctor, along with mu daughters doctor, have both told me that the peroxide will only further irritate the wound. It may clean it temporarily, but it will cause the skin to become inflamed and irritated. Which only makes it take longer to heal.
If you mean 3% hydrogen peroxide solution, that's what it's for. Higher concentrations, or other peroxides, may not be safe and should not be used for this purpose without consulting a physician.
Peroxide is a chemical part. It's not a condition that requires medicine, and isn't a medicine itself. Hydrogen peroxide is sometimes used for disinfection immediately after a wound.
Hydrogen peroxide doesnt clean anything, it only forces oxygen into the wound, which is the fizzy , bubbly white stuff is, and it kinds loosens the tissue so needle can be used to pop puss bubbles and everything
NO! You might have it confused with benzoyl peroxide?! Benzoyl peroxide is a commonly used chemical in most acne medicines.
Peroxide is used in teeth whitening due to the fact that it is sucessful in removing stains from teeth. The function of peroxide is to clean so this is why it whitens teeth.
No! It is best to use peroxide on a wound and better yet see your vet! It's possible a wound could get infected.
yes, it is safe to use peroxide. but in my opinion i wouldn't use it if you have an ear infection.
it is used to clean your wound, clean dirty things like dust, sand etc.
Hydrogen peroxide is used on minor cuts and scrapes because it acts as an antiseptic. It helps kill bacteria and prevent infection. Additionally, it can help remove debris and dirt from the wound, promoting healing. However, it should be used with caution and in moderation, as excessive use can delay wound healing.
its not comonly used directly on wounds but can still be used to clean around the site or tools.
