∙ 15y agoHydrogen peroxide could slightly lighten the tone, with terrible effects all over the rest of your mouth. On a chemical basis, yes it (and other peroxides) could.
It is highly inadvisable. Similarly to taking a bath in hand sanitizer, it works, but just don't do it.
