Peanut butter is completely safe for dogs if they are not allergic to peanuts (dogs can have food Allergies, too), and as long as it's given in small amounts. Peanut butter is great for giving dogs their medications since you can just put a small amount of it on the pill before giving it to them. It's also great for an ocassional treat since dogs love it. Just don't give them a large amount at one time, or they may choke on it.

∙ 11y agoDue to the high sugar content, jelly is not the best thing for a dog. Also, keep in mind that grape is a common jelly flavor, and grapes are highly toxic to dogs.
However, a bit of peanut butter as an occasional treat is okay.
