Yes, the mind and the body are linked. Any animal can die from stress, especially those that are taken from the wild and placed in cages.

If you have a pet rabbit, make sure to give it what it needs to be happy and healthy, otherwise it can get sick and even die from stress or other causes. Read the related links/questions below for more information.

This is a very sad case, when a rabbit is dying from shock. Its ears will bounce, it will sit still, and sometimes, it will twist its neck around a few times, like an owl would do.

What you can do to help your rabbit calm down, wrap it in a clean, warm towel and hold it close to you. Make no sudden or loud movements. Keep it in a warm, not hot, not cold area, just a warm place with plenty of water, maybe a carrot to feed your rabbit, or a piece of kale or something, if they want it. Touch your rabbit gently, if you do anything, petting it, stroking it, or trying to help it.

The best thing to do is when you get your rabbit wrapped up, get in a big seat of a car where you can move around, and rush your rabbit to the vet. They can help your poor, sick little bunny, to where she/he can be healthy and happy.
