NEW YORK- RENT A CENTER- Rent a Center can not get a warrant issued for not making payments. In certain cases they can send your account into collections and affect your credit for not making payments. You have the option of returning merchandise. Rent a center may also black list you from ever renting from any rent a center until the dept is paid. Taking merchandise without intentions of paying is fraudulent and is not morally correct.
If you cannot make payment on time
*You may request an extension before your due date, If you have a good payment history
*Return merchandise, You will have 1 month to retrieve it with out losing out on the money you already placed into it.
*Going past due 1-3 days is acceptable on occasion but call before due date.
