they might someday but as of now robots do not have emotional abilities and they are not able to learn. so they would have to be programed with all knowledge which is virtually impossible. and robots do not have very good communication skills yet so maybe someday but it wont be for probably 120 years
We can dream.
Robotic teachers will be released by 2020-2030
It would be improbable, since robots are not nearly advanced enough to cope with the needs of 30 odd pubescent school children. Heck, I doubt many teachers are unprepared in that category to, I know I am.
There are humanoid robots, military robots, insect robots, and space robots. There are more kinds of robots too.
There is lots of automatic machinery that qualifies as robotic, but there are no robots in the science fictional sense of a machine that looks like a person and can function in essentially the same way that a person does, or can replace a person for general purposes. There are lots of machines that replace people for very specific purposes. Robotic technology is constantly improving.
We can dream.

Robots may be able to answer more questions, but it takes human teachers to connect with the students. If the sudent is having a bad day, the robot wont recognize that, nor will it know to go out of its way to help the student sort out fixing grades or life situations. I for one love the kids that I work with and appreciate them for the individuals that they are. A robot wont identify with them nor know to give positive reinforcement.
The answer is NO! A computer cannot replace human skills, because: we need humans to teach us so that they can explain the slightest thing in many ways for one to understand. In a class if a student asks a question, can a computer answer it. The students need someone with experience and not a machine of some sort who has no feelings. Yes, Robots would make grading faster and teaching better, also the unemployed teachers could make learning software and teach the things that are too complex and hard for the robots too. They could make tests and also improve the community even more than they could if they were teaching.
Obviously, yes, consider robots on car assembly lines.
If the heveanly body was dangerous or distant.
