Many believe it is just a myth that this helps but I've used it and it always made the person stop hiccuping. The scientific reason for this is that, during a scare, most people either scream or gasp sharply. Doing so is said to stretch the diaphragm (which is spasming causing the hiccup in the first place) and, it is believed, to allow trapped air out or back into the normal passage of breathing. (Not sure about that last part)
Whatever the case, I cure my friends hiccups this way. It helps them and...it's fun! XD
Yes. Most likely it will scare away the hiccups.
Hiccups have air trapped in the diaphragm so if you scare someone, it may make them gasp for air which in turn could release the trapped air. It has helped many get rid of them.
Bless you
Yes, pressing on the eyebrow helps to get rid of the hiccups.

Hiccups are usually caused by a lack of oxygen to the diaphragm. Hiccups are hard to get rid of once they start. Many people might get the hiccups just by eating a piece of bread without drinking water or another liquid.
You can get rid of hiccups without being scared, drinking a glass of water, or holding your breath by swallowing lemon juice or by simply making yourself to burp.

This sounds dangerous and it is not medically recommended. Do not believe everything you read in the internet or chat rooms, if you have prolonged hiccups, you would do better by seeing a doctor.
