i am his age and that's a normal grade. he's doing fine. unless you want him to hate you for puting him in summer school (it is sooooo embarassing, it means your mom is like over protective and weird or you failed something....dont go there). remember: summer is a break from school, so i bet your son wants to keep it that way. *edit* and if you put him in summer school to get his grades higher and stuff he is gonna stress out, it happened to my younger brother, my mom was trying to turn him into an A+ student.
