It shouldn't, there are various artist believe it or not that have Asthma. Number one, just in case always bring your inhaler with you, you never know when there might be an onset of asthma. Number 2 do not strain yourself, make sure you know proper singing techniques, like when you sing use your stomach instead of your chest as your source of air. Lay down use a light book or flat surface on your stomach, take a breath through your stomach as you see the book rise, then release the air slowly as the book falls. Make sure its not your chest raising. As you do this release a note. These are some things if you can do if you don't know already. Also wear relaxing clothing so you aren't constricting any airways and can breathe normally. And remember do not strain your voice or over exert yourself.
