Yes, of course! I do it all the time, however, it is very wet to start off with and goes on all your clothes! You might want to make sure you wear a towel around your neck. Once you've finished chalking, you will want to blow dry it and maybe put some light hair spray in it! This will help it stay until you next wash it depending on your hair colour. Light - may take a wash to come out. Dark - may wear out eventually.
Yes! I used it to make a dipdye effect on my hair, and I love it.
I remember that Smiggle used to have it, don't know about it now.

Chalk (Powdered CaCO3) may be used for fine polishing.
the 'hair chalk' is just artist's pastels created to use on paper. They are made from finely ground pure pigment bound with a binder such as gum arabic, when used on paper they smudge easily if a fixative hasnt been used. If you are using these on your hair and go into a pool unless your hair has a lot of fixative on the pastel coloured parts the pigment will just come out in the water. Try using hairspray on the coloured hair before going into a pool as it may help preserve the pigmented chalk on your hair
