I am on 20mg or Focalin XR a day and I have been an avid marijuana smoker and activist for a long time. I can only speak from experience with higher quality bud (i.e. - "chronic" or if I'm lucky, some from cannabis clubs), but it doesn't cause any side effects that I've noticed. I've also been on Lexapro and many different drugs in that family and I've never noticed anything...and I smoke multiple times a day...usually.

Definitely helped with me. I would suggest quitting smoking completely when you start the medication. The contrast in how I felt was like day and night for me. Also, I dont feel as much of a desire to drink either
