It is possible. A shoot can either revert to one of the seed parents or a shoot can produce a sport, which would be a new variety. It could also be a flower from the briar the rose is buddied on too, This is the most likely.

A rose has two colour genes, one red and one white but let's just call them R and W. Usually, one gene dominates the so if gene W dominates gene R, then you will get a white rose. But if gene R dominates gene W, then you get a red rose.
Now here is the crucial part, if neither of the genes dominates the other, then the two genes mix together and creates a pink rose.
