It depends on the regulations in the specific jurisdiction, but generally, the registered owner will need to be present to retrieve a car from impound. If the registered owner is unable to do so, they can usually designate someone else to pick up the vehicle with proper authorization and identification.
Why politics
You can't be in love with someone else. You pick one, and thats the girl you pick.
State to state laws vary. In Georgia you have 30 days from the date of reposession to to pick up your personal belonging. Most companies will let you get your stuff out of the car when they come to pick it up. however if it is impounded at a tow / wrecker yard or government impound they will not let you access the vehicle until impound / tow fees are paid.
They usually wont get involved unless they are going to repossess it. You will still be responsible for th estorage fees and fines. Generally, a lienholder will inquire of the impound lot, as to if the vehicle owner has made contact and attempt to redeem. If there has been no owner contact or, as in this case, if they are made aware of the owners situation, they would probably monitor the status of their interest (the vehicle) to be sure it is redeemed prior to sale date. If the owner or lienholder does not pick up the vehicle it will be sold at auction. Proceeds first cover fees to the impound company with any balance payable to the Clerk of Court for disbursement to lienholder. (Florida)
It is the same as driving without a license. So what will happen is that the officer will give your child a citation for driving without a driver's license, the prices ranges in all cities and states. Then depending on the officer; may tow your vehicle to an impound lot or tell your child to call someone to come pick he and the vehicle up.
Whatever the terms of the impound lot is.
You make someone else do it or you can do it with your toes or your penis.
The only way the impound yard can hold a persons vehicle for an extra day is if there is a police hold which dictates a release date. Vehicles can only be picked up during normal business hours of the storage place. So if you call or expect to pick up your vehicle after its closed, then you will have to wait for the next day.
You have 45 days to pick up your property from the vehicle. That's it. They can tow from your home, work or anywhere else they may happen to find the vehicle.
Because the have something bad in there life and they just take it out on someone else they are just bully's.
It is quite likely someone else will.
