Does it do so with all applications? if it's not a virus, then someone has tampered with the contents of your windows\fonts folder if you can't figure out if someone has tampered with it, search and download default windows fonts or copy them from another person's computer (windows\fonts and install them in the windows\fonts folder-> menu bar file>install fonts. do exactly as i say or it might cause disorders. or ask someone who has an idea.
