Can someone help me - I found the sarcophagus and the mummy doesn't want to take it. This is for the Sims 2 DS. So what do I do?

Go back to the mummy and it will tell you what to do next. If it told you to put it somewhere safe thenk keep it in your suite until the mummy asks for it. You usually have to play out some other missions first too. Such as building the bovine shrine and all that. Just keep playing the game until you figure it out.
