An open ended question just means that it is a question that you can't answer with one word... like "yes" or "no," or someone's name. Something that requires thought, and probably at least a sentence to answer. So, think about some of the themes in To Kill a Mockingbird, like Slavery for instance. You could ask 'Was slavery an issue during the historical time period of the novel?' ... but that would be closed-ended, since you can answer it with one word... so try changing it into an open-ended question. Something like "How did slavery affect each of the characters in To Kill a Mockingbird?" ... this question you definitely can't answer with one word. You have to think about it, and go through a bunch of characters to come up with an answer. :) Anyway, try that. Think of some questions about the book, and then if you can answer them with one word, change them around a little until you can't answer them with one word.
Why did Jem ask Walter over for dinner?
What is the character of Miss Caroline meant to show?
Why did Scout assume Miss Caroline would know what she meant when she said "He's a Cunningham?"
The most logical answer would be simply to read the book.
Yes
SOMEONE write the answer to this questions
you write questions with a question mark at the end and the questions usually begin with WHO WHAT WHERE WHEN WHY HOW
No, after To kill a Mockingbird she decided that she did not need to write another book.
The site gets a lot of questions. Some are not complete thoughts, others are not questions but statements. There are questions that are just silly and not worth an answer while some are inappropriate or obscene. If you write a question that can be answered someone will eventually answer it.
You have written two totally different questions here. This is a question and answer site, so please rewrite this as separate questions so someone can answer each one.
Nope.
1960 - great book!
write to someone is the correct word although many people say write someone
Nobody can tell you what to write - you must write what is in your own heart and mind. Copying what someone else has written leads to dull, boring writing that is not going to help you learn how to write better. Click on the Related Questions to learn how to do this for yourself!
