Here is a story I came up with about Christmas. It is something I have made out of imagination, and has nothing to do with my family. I have used conserve, botanist, recycled, reduce and environment.
**This story is written in the first person (I, my family, we, etc.).**
As Christmas comes closer and closer with every passing day, my family starts to think about what kind of decorations we will get. The first thing that comes to mind is a Christmas tree. Mom says we will probably buy an artificial tree, to conserve the rest of the pine trees in my area. Dad is a botanist who studies tree and plant population in the area. He said the number of pine trees has been cut in half since 2000. We will get fluorescent lights, a plastic star for the top and of course, plenty of ornaments. My family loves using ornaments. My little sister loves looking at her reflection in the gold ones. We have a store near us tht sells items that have been given away by others, and that are at least 20% recycled material. By using recycled material, my family hopes to have a great Christmas and reduce waste at the same time. That way, it's great for us and our environment!
Sure, you could create a story about a group of friends who embark on a holiday adventure to a conservation-focused destination. They observe condensation forming on the leaves in the rainforest, study the impact of climate change on local wildlife, and participate in sustainable practices like recycling and using renewable energy. Through their experiences, they learn about the importance of conservation and preserving the environment for future generations.
Conservation is an action to conserve something or someone. Preservation are steps that you complete to save something or someone.

Saying "Happy Holidays" to someone is politically correct because not everyone celebrates the same holiday. Saying "Happy Holidays" will be less offending than telling someone "Merry Christmas" who does not celebrate Christmas.
