If your tweets are protected then the "retweet" button is not available on your tweets.
However, this doesn't stop someone who is following you from copy and pasting your tweet to a new tweet and adding "RT" before it.
Yes they will get your tweets. It will appear in their @replies tab.
I don't believe you can set up parental controls, however, you can protect an account and not allow everyone to see your children's tweets. Go under settings and select the "protect my tweets" option. This will allow only his or her followers to see the tweets.
When you lock your Twitter account only your followers can see your updates. Also, you will have to approve any new followers. It's like as if only your friends have the option to see you, kind of like being a king, you approve and see who can do stuff, but only a few people can see you.
There's no way to know who has viewed you on Twitter. However, you can set-up your page as "private" to protect your tweets.
If your profile/tweets are not protected then anyone can see your tweets. When you mention someone in your tweet, that tweet will always appear in their @replies tab whether they are following you or not.
If your account is private then only people that are following you can see your tweets. It doesn't matter who you are following, they must be following you to view your tweets. So, if you are following someone but they aren't following you then they won't be able to view your tweets.
You can tweet about anything, there aren't any "set" tweets that people use.
Check your settings. You might only have it set to text when a certain user tweets.

Yes, they can. Anyone can look at your pictures from Instagram on there unless you set it as private, tweets..etc. For an instance, when you look up your friend on twitter and look at her/his twitter, you can see there tweets and usually pictures.. that is how your's is as well
If someone sends you a Tweet, your Twitter name or handle has to appear. You can, however, go to the Settings menu and set your account to private. This way, your Twitter account will remain private and only those you designate can send you Tweets and see your information.
