Washing your face twice a day, once in the morning and once at night with soap and water is how you prevent acne from forming because it is removing your impurities from the skin but sadly this does not make them go away. Acne will go away with age and you can use a acne wash or pore purifier such as Panoxyl which works wonderfully at removing acne,redness and stuff like that. You should be able to pick up panoxyl from a drugstore such as Walgreen's or CVS pharmacy.
