No the word dulled is not a noun. It is a past tense verb.
I don't know that it's better to bake with stoneware. It really just depends on your personal preference. Many people like to bake with stoneware, because stoneware absorbs the flavor of the food you are baking. Therefore, after you bake many things on stoneware, the stoneware actually adds flavor to your food.
The stoneware won't, but if there are contaminants in it they could.
It doesn't season, meaning it doesn't absorb the juices from other foods that makes it turn that dark brown colour. Although told not to, my mother often washes hers in the dishwasher. She has one that she always used to wash simply using water, which is dark, whereas her newer one which always goes in the dishwasher still looks nearly new. I believe that if you put it in the dishwasher but don't put in a dishwasher tablet, then it washes as it would if you just put it under hot water and it may be more likely to season.
Dulled. Dull is a regular verb so the past and past participle are both dulled
Stoneware is more dense than earthenware and so is heavier.
According to chefscatalog.com, their ambrosia dinnerware is made from stoneware.
Pampered Chef Stoneware is awesome......the surface is virtually non porous so you won't transfer food tastes between foods and your foods will come out crispy and cook even....so no more burnt edged cookies or brownies with raw middles.....to use the stone you may want to grease it the first couple times so foods won't stick.....as your stone becomes seasoned it will darken in color and become non stick. You should only wash your stone in hot water and scrape off excess food with the Pan Scraper provided. Do not put your stone in the dishwasher and they recommend not to use soap.

Handmade stoneware jugs can be purchased online at Handmadegrowlers or eBay. Your local stoneware shop should also be able to order one if they don't have in stock.
