This can be a dangerous combination of medications to take. Please consult with your physician before taking either of these medications.
I have been on methadone for 10 years and on Seroquel for 6 and I am just fine. I did find out however that if I don't take my methadone or some sort of opiate, and I still take my Seroquel I get horrible Restless Leg Syndrome. I was off methadone for a few months and it was hell. I got back on my methadone and was find. Now I am detoxing from methadone and as the dose lowers I am getting Restless Leg Syndrome again which upsets me because I want off of the methadone but need Seroquel for sleep. I am in a quandry.
No, you will not die if you take as prescribed. One fourth of my patients at the Methadone clinic I work at are on Seroquel. It is safest to let your prescribing Doctor know you are on Methadone so he can adjust dose accordingly. Like any drug, if abused, there is danger.
It will help some simply because it will calm you down and also help you sleep which is usually pretty hard to do when withdrawing from anything. But I would recommend suboxone instead which is actually partially an opiate so it will help fill the void in your opiod recepters which is the reason you would be withdrawing in the first place hope this helped!!
Seroquel is an anti-psychotic drug and is often taken as a sleep aid. But when mixed with methadone, the two mix for a stronger sensation, as the seroquel intensifies the effects of methadone.
It can be very fatal when these two medications are mixed together. Please consult your physician before taking this combination of medications.
nothing
seroquel and methadone are prescribed together quite frequently.
is it dangerousfor me to take 50 mgs of seroquel with 110 mgs of methadone
if you take to much yes. Kicking methadone will make you wish you were dead. It is harder to kick than herion.
regular seroquel is about an hour and seroquel xr takes about 4hrs
vyvanse in the morning and seroquel at night
Don't take methadone in combination with Valium as this will increase the effects of methadone and can lead to an overdose.
No. No sleeping pills should be taken while on methadone. Ask your doc for something to help you sleep. I used to be on it and they prescriped everybody seroquel. Its not a sleeping pill but its side affect is sleeping. because you cant mix the two. It can kill you. I took a lot of things while i was on methadone but i never once messed with the sleeping pills
Can you mix methadone with fentanyl
Yes you can but the methadone will block the Dilaudid.
Not doing methadone in the first place
yes, you can do anything with methadone.
Seroquel is in a class of medications known as anti psychotics. Tylenol is a fever reducer and a mild pain reliever. It is safe to take Seroquel and Tylenol together.
DO NOT TAKE ULTRAM/TRAMADOL WHILE ON, OR COMING OFF OF METHADONE! You can, and probably will have a Grand Mal Seizure (Which is Very Bad)! How do I know this? It happened to me 3 times! I finally found out from my Methadone clinic that you can't mix the 2, or take Ultram while coming off of Methadone. It is a HORRIBLE experience! Please heed my advice! You can DIE!
Probably but don't do it Seroquel doesn't get you high but if you're gonna try to abuse at least just take it orally. Also nobody snorts Seroquel so no one really knows how safe it is. For all I know you'll have a seizure and die I'm just guessing.
