What will happen when a girl who has her period goes swimming wearing a sanitary towel?
How do you slow down a heavy period?
Someone wrote tampons would slow down you period and they don't. Birth control pill often make you bleed less and there are also other pills. In my case also the painkillers do it because when taking muscle relaxers the cramp goes away so I bleed less. But talk to your doctor because there is help top get. A heavy period is not healthy in the long run. I have to take extra iron and B12 or I go anemic.

Do you still need a pad or tampon after you period?
No, tampons and pads (also other menstrual products) are only needed on your period. Once your period is over you no longer use tampons or pads, in fact as your period comes to an end you need to stop using tampons because tampons cannot be used with light flow or spotting. It is a good idea to carry tampons and pads with you ready for when your next period starts, if you're young menstrual cycles can be irregular so your periods can start suddenly without warning.

Why should you use tampons for your period?
There's no reason why you should use tampons for your period. There are lots of options for dealing with your periods: pads, tampons, menstrual cups, softcups, free bleeding, menstrual release, etc. Whether you use tampons or not is up to you but there is no reason to ever use tampons if you don't want to, many women never use tampons. Its best to look at all your options and decide what works best for you.

Why do girls use tampons?
Tampons are used during menstruation or withdrawal bleeds, they are inserted vaginally to absorb flow before it leaves the body. Some girls wear tampons because they prefer internal options and may prefer these to menstrual cups, softcups, or menstrual sponges. Some girls do not like tampons or internal options at all so will use external options like pads or period underwear instead.

When you get your first period after stopping Depo-Provera should you use tampons?

Should you wear a tampon when receiving a massage though your period is not on?
No, tampons should only be used when you're on your period. Never use when not menstruating as this will be uncomfortable and potentially increase your risk of contracting Toxic Shock Syndrome. There's absolutely no reason to use tampons when not on your period, having a massage makes no difference: there's no reason why you should need to use tampons while having a massage.

Can you go swimming on 2nd day of your period?
There's absolutely nothing that you can't do on your period, no matter what day of your period it is, to swim on your period you need to use internal menstrual products like these: Tampons Soft tampons Sponges Diaphragms Softcups Menstrual cups Menstrual cups are the best option as they're safer than tampons, this means they can be worn for up to 12 hours and even when your flow is light without any health risks. Tampons are best for swimming as unlike tampons they don't absorb water, nothing shows outside your body, and they don't leak like tampons can.
